Elena Walch is considered a pioneer in Alto Adige, not only for the fact that she was one of the most important female winemakers in Italy, but also for introducing innovation into the region. Marrying into the Walch family she gained access to some of the best parcels of fruit, and subsequently sought to improve production from soil to bottle.
An intense and brilliant straw yellow characterizes the Pinot Grigio Vigna “Castel Ringberg”. Complexity of fruit aromas, in particular of ripe pears, a touch of sage and lime and spicy notes enrich the bouquet. In the mouth, elegance and harmony dominate, combined with a decisive well-balanced structure, assembled by intensity and creamy roundness. A Pinot Grigio with great character.
