A few steps far from Puglia’s enclosed Mar Piccolo Sea, where the Sirocco and Tramontane winds blow strong, the Giustini family found their “little corner of paradise.”

After spending years handling vineyards for some of the biggest companies in the area, Giuseppe Papadopoli purchased his first hectares of vines in 1991 outside San Giorgio Ionico, a small village that falls within the Primitivo di Manduria DOC, hosting unique soils of clay, sand, and shells and a location just 5 meters from the sea. In 2005, the winery produced their first vintage wines of Negroamaro, and since, have continued to produce wines of indigenous varieties true to the region’s history.

Giuseppe is at the heart of the company with his sons Salvatore & Federico are right beside him, using Giuseppe as a reference while they lead the company into the future.
